The 14th European Satellite Navigation Competition culminated in the Joint Awards Ceremony of the ESNC and Copernicus Masters on 07 November 2017. As highlight of the European Space Week in Tallinn, Estonia, all 26 path-breaking winning ideas were awarded in front of more than 500 guests from all over Europe and beyond. The participants Dr Jan Wendel from Airbus Defence and Space and Alexander Rügamer from Fraunhofer IIS celebrated a triple success in Tallinn with SORUS – Spoofing-Resistant UAVs : The duo did not only win the BMVI Special Prize and the Bavaria Challenge, but also took home the ESNC 2017 overall prize!

This year’s ESNC winners were awarded at the Joint Awards Ceremony of the ESNC and the Copernicus Masters on 7 November 2017. In line with the Satellite Masters Conference & Horizon 2020 Space Info Day, the event was the festive highlight of the European Space Week in Tallinn, Estonia.
